Panhua signs Philippine steelworks memorandum of understanding
Chinese steelmaker Panhua Group signed a memorandum of understanding on 17 September, to build an integrated steel mill in Misamis Oriental province in the Philippines, Kallanish notes.
The non-binding agreement was signed with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority. Panhua says it is now looking to secure land in the Phividec Industrial Estate. The mill is intended to satisfy steel demand for Philippine government infrastructure programme. Panhua…
