Pangang Vanadium completes sintering machine upgrade
Pangang Group Steel Vanadium & Titanium Co.,Ltd. (Pangang Vanadium) has completed the ultra-low emission transformation for its new number one sintering machine ahead of schedule. The plant was put into operation by the end of November.
The upgraded sintering machine is expected to increase the sinter material over 100 mm, improve the sinter drum strength by about 1.6%, and reduce solid fuel consumption by 1.2 kg/tonne of ore, Kallanish notes.
