Pandemic impact sees multi-year-low Egyptian rebar sales
Egyptian domestic market rebar sales slumped -35% on-year to only 312,000 tonnes in May, a multi-year low, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average price of May sales fell -16% on-year and was flat on-month at EGP 9,959/tonne ($629).
