Pakistan’s Agha Steel sales plummet amid turbulent market
Pakistan’s Agha Steel saw a 22% year-on-year drop in sales to PKR 11,991 million ($42m) in the nine months through March 2024.
The company experienced a significant net loss of PKR 2,034m compared to profit in the same period last year, notes Kallanish.
Its primary focus is on manufacturing and selling rebar, wire rod and billet. While it performed well in the first fiscal quarter through September 2023, its performance declined in the following months.
