Pakistani cold roller awaits AD duty, hikes output
Pakistani cold roller Aisha Steel Mills (ASML) sees an expected antidumping duty on cold rolled coil imports, coupled with higher capacity utilisation, turning around its financial performance going forward.
In the quarter through September (FQ1) the producer hiked monthly output to 15,000 tonnes from an average of 11,000t in the fiscal year through June 2015. Cost efficiency was also achieved in the conversion of hot rolled coil into CRC.
