Pacific Steel starts up Danieli-supplied billet caster
Italian technology supplier Danieli informs Kallanish in a brief note that a new billet caster that it has supplied to Mexico’s SIMEC has now been started up.
The new four-strand billet caster has been installed at SIMEC subsidiary Pacific Steel in Guadalajara, Mexico. The new caster will enable Pacific Steel to improve overall performance and to extend its range of production from commercial to speciality steel grades, Danieli says.
