Ozdi Acelmuvek acquires Slovakia Steel Mills
Hungarian long steelmaker Ozdi Acelmuvek has acquired Slovakia Steel Mills (SSM) in the public tender launched last year by the Strazske-based company's bankruptcy trustee, the spokesperson for Ozdi’s parent Max Aicher confirms to Kallanish.
The German steelmaker is yet to establish concrete plans for its newly-acquired unit, including whether or not production will restart, it says.
