Oman's TMK GIPI seeks to replace seamless pipe
Oman-based TMK GIPI plans to increase shipments of welded casing pipe to end-users that traditionally use seamless casing pipe in the Middle East.
In 2015 GIPI supplied the first pilot batch of welded casing pipe to Occidental Petroleum Corporation in Oman. The pipemaker plans to expand into technical consultations and after-sale services for delivered tubular products in its home market.
