Omani rebar cements Kuwait supply amid Emirati absence
Amid Emirati suppliers’ absence, Omani rebar has cemented its place in the Kuwait imported rebar market, Kallanish notes.
This is the second month that the Emirati major has not issued rebar quotes or allocation to the Kuwait market. This has left buyers to book Omani rebar at around $575/tonne cfr Kuwait against LC at sight for delivery in the second half of February.
