Oman-based Shadeed hits record rebar output
Jindal Shadeed (JSIS)’s rebar mill produced 6,222 tonnes of 20mm diameter rebar in 24 hours on 19 December, a new record.
The unit reached a top production rate of 268.3 tonnes/hour during the day and averaged at 265 t/h for the running duration of the day. The mill is designed to produce at 237 t/h.
