OM to conclude ferroalloy subsidiaries’ purchase
OM Holdings has fulfilled conditions to acquire the remaining 25% interest in Malaysian ferroalloys smelter complex OM Materials (Sarawak) and OM Materials (Samalaju) from Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd (CMS) for $120 million.
In June, OM, via subsidiary OM Materials (OMS), entered into a conditional share purchase agreement with Cahya Mata Sarawak for the deal.
The transaction is expected to be completed on 13 December, Kallanish notes.
