OM profit up on higher manganese ores price
Australia and Malaysia-listed manganese ore and ferroalloy company OM Holdings Limited’s net profit for the first half ended 30 June, 2022, soared 231.49% to $60 million from $18.1m a year ago, Kallanish notes.
The surge in profit was supported by higher prices for manganese ores, ferrosilicon and silicomanganese alloys which have prevailed since the fourth quarter of 2021.
