Olympus sells Phoenix slag handling business
Industrial private equity firm Olympus Partners is shedding its slag and metals recycling unit, Kallanish understands.
Olympus plans to sell Phoenix Services to Apollo Global Management Group. Phoenix has active slag and metals reclamation accounts with ArcelorMittal, Nucor, US Steel and other major mills.
Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
