Oil weakness keeps US OCTG subdued
US oil country tubular goods prices remained static last week as buyers nervously watch oil prices flounder, Kallanish reports.
Kallanish held its representative P110 domestic welded casing price Friday at $1,000-1,050/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill, green tube.
“Nothing’s going on,” says one Gulf Coast energy tube trader. “Lots of blood in the street. [... Crude oil at] $17/barrel makes it hopeless.”
