Oil, geopolitics hamper MENA demand, 2018 rebound foreseen
Middle East and North Africa finished steel demand is projected to be flat on-year in 2017 at 72.6 million tonnes, worldsteel says in its October short-range outlook (SRO). In 2018 it will rise 4.5% to 75.8mt.
