OECD raises Turkey’s economic growth forecast
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has revised upwards its forecast for Turkish economic growth in 2021 to 8.4%, from its 5.7% projection in May.
However, it lowered its growth expectation for Turkey in 2022 by 0.3 percentage points to 3.1%.
The OECD raised its year-end headline consumer inflation expectation in Turkey from 16% to 17.8% for 2021, and from 12.8% to 15.7% for 2022.
