Italian steel output resumes growth in October

After decreasing on-year in September for the first month this year, Italian crude steel output resumed its growth in October, Kallanish learns from local steelmakers’ association Federacciai. After a -5.2% on-year fall in September to 1.9 million tonnes, October crude steel output increased by as much as 11.4% to 2.1mt. In January-October it also grew 4.2% to 19.4mt, the association says.
