US OCTG prices tread water
US oil country tubular goods prices remain stuck at the $1,350/short ton level for representative domestic welded P110 product, Kallanish reports.
“August was a very slow month for many, so the $1,350/st is still a good transaction target,” says one buy-side source. “There’s lots of pipe on the ground. No issues remaining in Houston. Scrap prices will soften, but I don’t see any issues on supply.”
