US OCTG prices hold - for now
US oil country tubular good prices remained unchanged in the week ended 20 October, though market sources warn that further declines are coming.
Kallanish currently puts representative product P110 domestic welded casing at $1,200-1,250/short ton.
That price level does not represent a floor so much as a temporary plateau, says one buy-side source.
“Demand is strong, but supply is excessive,” he says. “So, prices continue to fall.”
