OCTG prices benefit from rising skelp in US
Long-dormant oil country tubular goods (OCTG) prices appear to be on the upswing as a result of rising skelp prices, Kallanish hears from market sources.
Kallanish increased its price Friday for P110 welded casing to $1,150-1,200/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill, plain-end.
Hot-rolled appears to be poised for another run, with some market sources predicting $800/st within a matter of weeks (see related story).
