OCTG inventories shrink, demand still lacklustre
Thinning oil country tubular good inventories may not be enough to overcome continued downward momentum in crude oil prices, Kallanish learns from market sources.
“Crude has been sliding all week,” says one OCTG trader. “This is increasing the fear factor to mobilise new drilling/completion equipment. Pricing is trying to move on the speculation that demand will be rising while some items in inventory are on the retreat.”
