Nucor ups tubular prices
Nucor Tubular Products is increasing its tubular prices by $40/short ton effective immediately, in line with the company’s sheet price hike, Kallanish reports.
The increase applies to all new orders for hollow structural sections, pipe, and mechanical tubing.
“This increase is a result of increased demand over the last several weeks,” the company says in a pricing letter. Extant orders will be price-protected through 22 November.
