Nucor, SSAB move up on plate
Nucor has joined SSAB’s push for higher plate base prices in the US market, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
Both companies are raising base prices for both carbon and alloy plate products by $50/short ton. All applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
Kallanish put A36 plate at $780-800/st prior to the increase announcements.
