Nucor sees Q1 earnings dip ahead
US steel producer Nucor expects a quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year dip in profits when it reports its first-quarter earnings, Kallanish understands.
Nucor projects earnings of $1.00-1.05/diluted share for the quarter ending 31 March, down from $1.20/share ($383.9m) in Q4 and $1.11/share in Q1 2017.
