Nucor sees profits fall in 2019
US steel producer Nucor saw a steep on-year drop in its profits during 2019, Kallanish reports.
Nucor earned $1.27 billion in 2019 on sales of $22.59 billion, down from a profit of $2.36 billion on sales of $25.07 billion in 2018.
Both tons shipped and average pricing fell by -5% on-year.
