Nucor sees earnings trending up in third quarter
US steel producer Nucor expects its third-quarter earnings to be significantly higher than its Q2 earnings, though still just a fraction of its Q3 2019 earnings, Kallanish reports.
Nucor anticipates earnings of $0.50-0.55/per diluted share in Q3, up from Q2 earnings of $0.36/share - or $108.9 million - but down from Q3’s $0.90/share, or $275m.
