Nucor records Q3 profit, sees tougher conditions ahead
US steelmaker Nucor expects steel market conditions to continue to decay through year-end, Kallanish learns from the company’s third-quarter earnings review.
Nucor posted a quarterly net profit of $227.1 million on sales of $4.23 billion, down from its Q3 2014 profit of $254.4m on sales of $5.7 billion.
Those numbers are likely to waver a bit in Q4, the company says, due to import pressure.
