Nucor plans second utility structures facility in Indiana
Nucor will expand its towers-and-structures business segment with the announcement of plans to build an additional utility structures production facility. Kallanish understands that this new plant will be built in Indiana, adjacent to the Nucor Steel Crawfordville steel mill.
The facility will utilise highly automated straight-line production technologies and include the ability to perform hot-dipped galvanizing operations.
