Nucor picks Walker as lead director
US steelmaker Nucor has appointed metals industry veteran John Walker as its new lead director, Kallanish reports.
Walker replaces outgoing lead director Raymond Milchovich, who announced in February that he would not stand for reelection.
Walker has been on Nucor’s board of directors since 2008. He was most recently non-executive chairman of Global Brass and Copper. Prior to that appointment, he served as ceo of The Boler Company and Weirton Steel Corp…
