Nucor orders new inspection system for Berkeley
US steel producer Nucor has ordered a new surface inspection system for its Berkeley hot-rolled sheet mill in Huger, South Carolina, Kallanish understands.
The inspection system will be supplied by Primetals Technology and is expected to come online by the end of the fourth quarter. No financial details of the order were released.
