Nucor orders mill for Sedalia project
US steel producer Nucor has ordered a Danieli micromill for its Sedalia, Missouri, rebar project, Kallanish reports.
The mill will ultimately produce more than 350,000 short tons/year of straight rebar, with the capability to add a spooling line in the future.
The mill is slated to come online by the third quarter of 2019.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
