Nucor moves up US plate base prices
Nucor has increased its plate base prices by $40/short ton, a move that market observers say may finally push the market out of its pricing rut, Kallanish understands.
The increase is effective immediately. Prior to the increase, Kallanish put A36 plate prices at $660-690/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
