Nucor moves up on tubular products
US steel producer Nucor is raising prices for some of its tubular products, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
Effective immediately, Nucor is raising sprinkler pipe base prices by 5% and standard A53 prices by $40/short ton.
“This increase is a result of increased demand, continued reduction in inventory levels, and a continued escalation of raw material prices,” Nucor says in the letter.
