Nucor lifts tubular prices
US steel producer Nucor is raising its base prices for all tubular products, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Nucor’s base prices for all hollow structural sections, pipe, piling, and mechanical tubing are now up by $40/short ton – mirroring the company’s increases for both sheet and plate products.
Extant orders will be price protected through 12 December.
