Nucor joins plate hike
Nucor has lent its support to SSAB Americas’ base price hike on quenched-and-tempered plate, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The $60/short ton increase mirrors the SSAB increase and is effective immediately for all non-contract, non-confirmed orders.
Additionally, Nucor confirms thickness surcharges of $400/st on 3/16-inch plate; $300/st on ¼-inch plate; and $200/st on 5/16-inch plate.
