Nucor joins plate base price push
US steel producer Nucor has lent its weight to the push for higher plate base prices, Kallanish learns from a customer letter.
Nucor’s $50/short ton increase echoes an increase made late last week by SSAB Americas. Both increases are additive to previous $40/st increases announced in November.
