Nucor hikes tubular prices
Nucor Tubular Products is lifting its welded pipe base prices, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Sprinkler pipe pricing will rise by a minimum of 4%, while A53 standard pipe will increase by a flat $40/short ton. This echoes tubular announcements by other producers for both A53 and A500 structural pipe.
It also echoes recent price hikes on hot-rolled coil, which serves as the raw feedstock for welded pipe production.
