Nucor hikes tubular prices
Nucor Tubular Products is raising its base prices for a variety of products by $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a customer announcement.
Effective immediately, base pricing for all hollow structural sections, pipe, piling, and mechanical tubing products is up $40/st as a “... result of increased demand and escalation in raw material,” the company says.
Extant orders will be price-protected through to 3 February.
