Nucor expects big bump in Q3 earnings
US steel producer Nucor expects its third-quarter earnings to be up significantly both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year, Kallanish learns from company guidance.
Nucor anticipates Q3 earnings in the neighbourhood of $0.85-0.90/diluted share, up from $0.73/diluted share in Q2 and $0.71/diluted share in Q3 2015. Earnings in Q2 were $233.8 million and earnings in Q3 2015 were $227.1m.
