Nucor confirms Berkeley back online
Nucor’s Berkeley facility in Huger, South Carolina, is back to normal operation following a shutdown prompted by Hurricane Matthew, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
“The mill was down briefly during the storm, but power has been restored and operations have resumed,” says a Nucor spokeswoman. “Customer orders were not impacted. More importantly, Nucor Steel Berkeley teammates and their families are safe.”
