Nucor buys cold-drawn longs producer
US steelmaker Nucor has acquired longs producer St. Louis Cold Drawn Inc, Kallanish reports.
St. Louis produces 200,000 short tons/year of cold-drawn longs from its facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Monterrey, Mexico, primarily for the automotive and industrial markets.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
