Nucor buys Alberta joist manufacturer
US steelmaker Nucor has bought Samuel, Son & Co. subsidiary Omega Joist, Kallanish reports.
The Nisku, Alberta-based company manufactures open web joinsts and will be rolled into Nucor’s downstream divison.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
