Nucor to break ground on Canadian Vulcraft branch
US steelmaker Nucor is slated to break ground on its flagship Canadian Vulcraft/Verco Group facility Friday in Ancaster, Ontario, Kallanish understands.
Vulcraft is part of Nucor’s joists and decking fabrication wing and currently operates 10 facilities in the US.
The facility is expected to come online and begin production in the fourth quarter.
No financial details for the facility have been released, though Nucor says total employment at the site …
