Nucor Arkansas, Andritz reach for full galvanizing production
Austria-based technology group Andritz and US steelmaker Nucor are working together to reach full production on a new galvanizing line in Hickman, Arkansas.
In December, Nucor Steel Arkansas produced the first prime coil on the 500,000 short ton/year, third-generation flexible galvanizing line which was supplied by Andritz (see Kallanish 3 January 2022).
