Nucor announces US rebar hike
Nucor is lifting its rebar prices by $25/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
The move, reportedly echoed by other domestic rebar producers, is effective immediately.
Current orders will be price-protected through 1 April.
“As always, we will monitor the marketplace and respond accordingly in order to assure you of receiving a competitively priced product,” the company says in its pricing letter.
