Italian scrap players prepare for price uptick
Italian scrap prices are foreseen as rising slightly in November, sources in the industry tell Kallanish. As Turkish scrap values increase, Italian prices appears to have stopped falling.
Demand for material this week appears to have become livelier, sources say. Merchants have noticed a change in attitude from mills that are now seeking material. The sector had witnessed low sales volumes and a poor level of demand from mills in September and October.
