November import applications sink
US steel import applications appear to have dropped significantly in November, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Citing data from the US Department of Commerce, the institute puts total November import applications at 2.544 million short tons – down -22.1% from October’s preliminary import total.
