Norwest Energy urges shareholders to reject MinRes takeover
Australian oil and gas firm Norwest Energy (Norwest) has urged its shareholders to reject takeover by miner Mineral Resources (MinRes), Kallanish notes.
Mineral Resources, which made an off-market takeover bid to acquire the remaining stake in Norwest via a scrip deal last month, already owns a 19.9% stake in Norwest.
