Northern European wire rod hits €800
Northern European wire rod prices have continued to increase this week, by €40-60/tonne ($49-73/t). The expectation is for further hikes due to higher demand, limited supply and increased scrap prices, market participants observe.
“Wire rod prices are going crazy and will probably continue to go up,” a Netherlands producer confirms to Kallanish.
