Northern European wire rod prices continue to fall
Northern European wire rod prices have decreased again this week amid low demand and a sluggish market, sources say. Most participants expect this trend to continue in the coming weeks.
“The market is quiet and no customers want to take the risk to purchase big volumes,” a trader form the Netherlands tells Kallanish.
Prices have fallen by €20/tonne ($21.7) on-week depending on the sort.
